A new NYNJA in Kotta
Steve Woods and his very new wife Michele are now flying their newly finished Nynja, and loving it.Steve and Michele built their Nynja in a hanger at Kotta airfield only 5 minutes from their home in Lockington (vic). The build took Steve a little longer than he anticipated but work kept interupting him. Steve builds bespoke horse shelters and his business takes him all over eastern Australia, keeping him away from home sometimes for weeks at a time.
Steve departed from the standard build (as many do) and installed electric elevator trim, which works very well. This is just one of the advantages of building your own plane, you can modify it to your own requirements.
Congratulations Steve and Michele on the new machine.
Nynja approved for glider towing
The NYNJA has now been approver in Europe to tow gliders up to 600kg. Many in Europe's gliding fraternity have been pushing for this for some time as the Nynja is the most cost effective aircraft to perform this task. Phil Prevot along with others has put an enormous amount of work into this exciting development. The attachment can be fitted to existing NYNJAS with a little modification. More details to follow.
